After careful sculpting to an almost ultra-smooth finish, the only trace of human presence she deliberately leaves behind, are the hints of thumb print marks and the calculated eroded edges. Following this initial working stage, an ultra-fine slip; Terra Sigilatta is applied prior to a biscuit firing. The jars, vases and pots are then put inside a larger vessel where they are packed with organic, combustible material before beginning the unusual process of pit, barrell or smoke firing. The result of this firing creates surfaces that have the grooves and façades of the organic material imprinted on them.

We offer free UK delivery as standard. If you wish to deliver internationall, please call us to discuss and we'll be happy to help. Delivery is usually within 3-5 days and will be made by a professional courier, parcel courier or gallery member. If the work is over 100cm, special delivery arrangements may be required but we will contact you to arrange if this is the case. If you would like to collect your artwork in person, please contact us to arrange.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. For contemporary artwork purchased through this website, you have 14 days to notify us after receiving your item if you wish to return it. Following which you will have a further 14 days to return the item. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and must be in the original packaging. Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received it. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
