Kathy Little studied at the Royal College of Art until 1982 and now lives and works in the North West of England. She has exhibited nationally and internationally in galleries and selective exhibitions including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. She has work in both private and public collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum. She was selected to exhibit at the Discerning Eye Exhibition in London, winning regional prizes for three successive years and has been solely represented by Artwave West for thirteen years.
New paintings made for this exhibition feature uplifting colours and garden scenes that will bring the outside into any home!
Louise Plant completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Arts Practice at the University of Derby in 2003. From 2006-8 she was a mentee of Helaine Blumenfield, OBE. In 2007, she was awarded the Brian Mercer Scholarship at Fondazione Sem, Pietrasanta, Italy. She holds an impressive Exhibiting history and has won numerous awards including Arts Council ‘Year of the Artist’ Award in 2000 and The Bohuslans Stone Scholarship, Sweden in 2014. Her work is held in many private collections and public commissions throughout England. In 2014 she became an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Sculptors (FRSS).
New works by Louise include this beautiful ‘Nudibranx – Danzatore’ based on the incredible ripples of the Spanish Dancer or Sea Slug.
