‘Venice’ by Heather Duncan. Oil on canvas, 40cm x 40cm
The Land and The People 4th May – 8th June
HEATHER DUNCAN, JEANNETTE HAYES, EDWARD KELLY, KATHY LITTLE AND REBECCA FONTAINE-WOLF
The Land and The People brings together a collection of artworks by five leading contemporary Gallery Artists.
The strength and power in this show is tangible. Perhaps because the subject matter is so central to all of us; the landscape, the architecture and the people in it. Influences are as diverse as the castles in Scotland to the Pyramids in Egypt, and from ideas about domain and settlement to womens identity and place in the world. However, the link between these artists is their passion about depicting The Land and The People.
