Multi award winning artist and Vice President of the Pastel Society, Jeannette Hayes exhibits her latest landscape pastels and paintings, alive with a dynamic expressive energy that resonates with a liberated optimistic creativity.
Edward Kelly, born in Liverpool in 1946 has been exhibiting since 1969 with his contemporaries such as Sylvia Goth and Simon Willis. He makes intense, complex paintings which disclose an insightful assimilation of Modernist tendencies.
Lucy Lutyens presents a divergent to the exhibition, working in bronze, she produces sculptural works that offer a birdlike or botanical quality which she describes as ‘elegant objects of desire.’
Completing the line-up, highly sought after painter, Paul Denham’s evocative landscapes capture wild open moorland. Theyl transport us to a memory of landscape where ‘fragments of line and form fused with shadow and luminous space contemplate nature’s mysterious qualities and its elemental changes’.
