BRIDGES OF LONDON
A MINI FEATURE EXHIBITION BY DONNA GOOLD
1st – 29th November 2025

Bridges of London is a captivating mini series of paintings by Donna Goold, celebrating the architectural beauty and cultural significance of London’s iconic bridges. Spanning the River Thames, these structures connect more than just the city’s geography, they link its rich history to its vibrant present. In this series, Donna captures each bridge with a distinctive blend of realism and atmosphere, using light, colour, and composition to evoke both the physical form and the emotional mood of the moment.
Her paintings reflect not only the individuality of these engineering feats, but also their shifting presence within the changing cityscape – sometimes monumental, sometimes delicate, always deeply rooted in place.
These works invite viewers to reconnect with these familiar landmarks, not merely as structures of steel and stone, but as silent guardians of the city’s memories, emotions, and unfolding stories.
These paintings were created without paintbrushes, as Donna uses her unique finger-painting technique, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind. All works are oil on gesso and share the same frame, allowing them to be displayed individually or grouped harmoniously.
Sitting alongside Donna’s Feature Exhibition will be artworks by all our amazing Gallery Artists.
